A London removals firm that answers the phone

Who we are

Alpha Movers Group Ltd (company number 17405324) is registered in England and Wales and based at 779 Eastern Avenue, Ilford IG2 7RX. We run a small fleet of small, medium and Luton vans with tail lifts, and a crew who do this full time rather than as a side job.

Most of our work is domestic: one-bedroom flats, family houses, single-item transport and the awkward jobs other firms decline, like hoisting a sofa through a first-floor window. The rest is office and commercial relocation, usually run in the evening or over a weekend so a business opens on time.

How we price

Our rate card is published in full. Three things decide what a move costs — the van, the crew and the hours — and everything else is either included or quoted separately and agreed before the day. Fuel, ULEZ, insurance, blankets, straps and stairs are all in the price. There is no weekend premium and no travel charge anywhere inside Greater London.

We do not run a quote form. You ring or WhatsApp, describe the job, and get a figure in about two minutes. If you want certainty rather than an hourly meter, ask for a fixed price and we will give you one that holds.

Insurance and accountability

Every job carries goods in transit and public liability cover as standard, and certificates can be sent before you book — useful when a building manager wants proof before releasing a loading bay or service lift. If something does go wrong, tell the crew lead on the day, photograph it, and contact the office. We do not make customers chase.

Why being local matters

Our vans are parked in Ilford overnight, so an east London job does not start with an hour of driving. It also means we know the practical things: which turnings off Eastern Avenue a Luton cannot make, which blocks near Ilford station insist on a booked service lift, and how long a Redbridge parking suspension takes to come through. That local knowledge is what keeps the hours down, and the hours are what you pay for.
