We do not invent a stair surcharge on the doorstep — floor level is part of the quote conversation. Photos of stair turns, sofas and parking help us confirm dismantling or extra hands early. Shared halls and landings are handled carefully. If a sofa will not fit, we can discuss hoisting as a separate option before you commit.

Yes. Goods in Transit and Public Liability cover are included with every Alpha Movers booking, alongside blankets and straps for furniture. High-value or specially fragile items should be declared before collection so handling notes are clear. If a landlord or building manager asks for proof of cover for a loading bay or service lift, we can supply the usual documents at booking confirmation. That cover is part of choosing a proper moving team rather than a random van at short notice.

Same-day and next-day slots in London can be possible when a van and crew are available — WhatsApp is the fastest check. Smaller man-and-van loads are easier at short notice than full house moves.
